We love to create opportunities for our middle and high school students to build community and grow in their faith. Our volunteer leaders do a great job of coming alongside parents and families to help guide students in their walk with God. Here are a few of those opportunities.

Below is a list of what's going on:
#KIDSMATTER
Thank you so much for your interest and willingness to serve as a volunteer with Venture Kids. Below, you will find a series of links that will get you started! If you have any questions, please reach out to ashley@jointheventure.com
Step 1:
Background CHeck
To keep our kids safe, we require that all of our volunteers complete a background check.
If you have not received a link to fill out a background check, please email our children's minister, Ashley Harrison to request one. ashley@jointheventure.com
Step 2:
Safety and instruction training: This section is a series of videos designed to establish some foundational principles for how we interact with our kids. For their safety, for your safety, and also for setting standards for things like classroom and behavioral management.

The Total viewing time will take you about 35 minutes. Feel free to break this up into a few viewing sessions.

After watching the videos, there is a brief quiz (9 Questions) for you to take. See link below or find it here. This is to help us have a record of who viewed the material as well as a confirmation that you've seen and understand the material.

Let's go!
Thank you for volunteering. You will be a light shining into our kids. Here are some expectations we have for all of our volunteers.
Be reliable and committed: Show up on time and prepared for your assigned role. Communicate any absences or changes in availability promptly. Respond to PlanningCenter invites in a timely manner.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude: Your energy sets the tone for the children's experience. Be respectful of all children, staff, and volunteers.
Be respectful and patient: Remember each child is unique and may learn and behave differently. You are here for them to see the love of God.
Model Christian values: Demonstrate kindness, compassion, and respect in your interactions with others.
